The Pacer Stacktrain network spans the service areas of all major North American railroads. With some 50,000 miles of track, Pacer Stacktrain is the most extensive rail distribution system in the marketplace.

We maintain the largest fleet in the industry, with approximately 30,000 48' & 53' containers, the majority of which are 53’ high-cube units with 110" door openings. Pacer Stacktrain also controls a fleet of specially designed, fuel-efficient railcars that accommodate containers stacked two high. This "double-stack" technology virtually eliminates slack action and other forces that damage freight. The result: improved cost-effectiveness and ride quality for our customers' shipments.
